Everyone is a sinner, Romans 3:23. And everyone who sins deserves to die, Romans 6:23. But Jesus came to save sinners, 1 Timothy 1:15. He saved us by dying for our sins, Isaiah 53:5. He was separated from God, His Father, Matthew 27:46, and the pain of separation killed him, and He died on the cross from a broken heart, John 19:34. 3 days later he was raised to life, 1 Corinthians 15:4, and for 40 days he talked with his disciples and over 500 people, Acts 1:3; 1 Corinthians 15:6,7. Then he rose up to heaven, Acts 1:9, and sat down next to God, Hebrews 1:3. He went into the temple in heaven, into the room called the Holy Place, Hebrews 8:2, and began His work as the High Priest, Hebrews 6:20. As our High Priest, part of His work is to help us through our temptations, Hebrews 2:18, because he was also tempted like we are, but He didn’t sin, Hebrews 4:15. And He can save us because His main job is to ask God to forgive our sins, Hebrews 7:25. And we are to remember that if we ever sin, we have Jesus right next to the Father, ready to ask for our forgiveness, 1 John 2:1. In the year 1844, Jesus walked from the Holy Place, into a special room called the Most Holy Place, Leviticus 16:15, and began cleaning up the Temple in heaven, Daniel 8:14. He also opened some books in heaven, in which are written down everything that everyone has ever done, Daniel 7:10, and He has been chosen by God to read these books and decide who will be saved and who will be lost, Acts 10:42. Today, all the time-prophecies in the Bible have come true and are completed, Revelation 10:6. Jesus is getting ready to come back here to earth, and He will pick us up and take us to heaven, so that we can be with Him, John 14:3. He will come down from heaven with a loud shout, 1 Thessalonians 4:16. That shout will shake the earth and the sky, Hebrews 12:26. With a roar the sky will catch on fire and seem to disappear, and the earth, and everything in it will, burn up, 2 Peter 3:10, 12. Ungodly people will be destroyed, 2 Peter 3:7. Jesus appearing in the sky is so bright that it kills the wicked and evil people, 2 Thessalonians 2:8-10. They die because they did not believe God’s truth, 2 Thessalonians 4:12. Christians who have died will first be raised to life. Then we Christians who have not died will be carried up into the sky, along with them, and together we will all meet Jesus in the sky, 1 Thessalonians 4:17. For 7 days (which equals ½ hour in Bible prophecy) we travel to heaven, Revelation 8:1. When we arrive, we go into a city called the New Jerusalem, which literally means, the New City of Peace, Revelation 22:14. The city is shaped like a perfect cube; it is 1,500 miles long, wide, and high. It’s walls are 216 feet thick, and are made of a green stone called jasper, Revelation 21:16, 17, 18. It has 12 gates, each one made out of a single giant pearl, Revelation 21:21. There are 3 gates on each wall. And on each one is written a name of one of the tribes of Israel. Standing at each gate is one angel, Revelation 21:12, 13. The wall has 12 foundation stones. Each one has the name of one of the 12 apostles written on it. Every foundation is covered with all kinds of gems. And each foundation stone is made of a different kind of gem. The colors range from red and white, to bright red, to golden, to sea green, to yellow-green, to apple green, to blue, and purple, Revelation 21:19, 20. The entire city is made out of pure gold that is see-through, like glass, Revelation 21:18. It’s streets are also made out of pure, see-through gold, Revelation 21:21. The city is full of mansions, which Jesus, the carpenter, has custom-made for us, John 14:2. In the middle of the city is God’s throne. From out of the throne rushes a river that is crystal-clear, and which holds the water of life, Revelation 22:1. We are free to drink as much water as we want to, Isaiah 55:1, Revelation 22:17. Growing up from both sides of the river is the Tree of Life. This tree produces 12 different kinds of fruit, Revelation 22:2. God has given us the right to pick its fruit and eat it, Revelation 22:14. We pick and eat as much fruit as we want because this tree puts out its fruit every month without ever failing, Revelation 22:2, Jeremiah 17:8. Inside the city we never have nighttime. And no lights are needed to light up the city because God is the light of the city, Revelation 22:5. And there we will see God face to face, Revelation 22:4, 1 Corinthians 13:12. We are in heaven with Jesus for 1000 years, Revelation 20:4. During this time we read the same books that Jesus read, and we see that Jesus was right in who He saved and who He did not save, 1 Corinthians 6:2, 3; Revelation 15:3 After 1000 years, the New Jerusalem, with us inside of it, comes down out of the sky and lands on the earth, Revelation 21:2. The wicked people who are dead, are raised back to life, Revelation 20:5. Satan tricks them (perhaps convincing them that they have so many people that they can easily capture the city), and he gets them into one huge crowd and declares war on God, Revelation 20:8. These wicked people begin to march toward the New Jerusalem and then completely surround it. As they rush to attack the city, fire comes down from heaven and burns them up, Revelation 20:9. Satan is also burned up, and finally, death itself is burned up, too, Revelation 20:10, 14. Then God recreates everything, and makes it brand new, Revelation 21:5. In this new earth, no one feels any pain. Nobody gets sad or depressed. And no one dies, because all those things are from the old world, which is completely gone, Revelation 21:4. And God says to us today in Isaiah Chapters 65 & 11 17) “Look, I am making a new sky and a new earth. And all the pain from the past will never be remembered, they won’t even come into your mind. Chapter 11 6) The leopard will cuddle up next to the goat, and the baby cow will cuddle up next to the lion. And a little child will lead them along.
